The Brief

The American Library Association (ALA) sought a compelling concept and visual identity for their annual Banned Books Week campaign in October. This campaign serves a vital purpose by generating buzz and raising awareness about the growing issue of book bans in schools.

The Solution

Craft both graphic and narrative concepts, each infused with a compelling message. Initially, I contributed four concepts out of the dozen, and three of these made it through the first selection rounds, ultimately earning a place in the final selection. While they didn't secure the final spot, these concepts remain close to my heart, as both a reader and writer.

Let freedom read.
